Meet Zebra!

Zebra survived as a stray in Fergus for over six years, and we have never met a cat happier to have a second chance at life. When he first arrived in our care, he was severely matted, covered in wounds, suffering from painfully broken teeth, and dealing with an eye infection caused by entropion eyelids.

Since coming to Arthur Animal Rescue, Zebra has truly blossomed. All of his issues have been addressed, and he has learned to trust again, realizing that people are here to help him.

Zebra loves being scratched behind the ears and will happily curl up in your lap or snuggle beside you to soak up as much affection as possible. He enjoys short play sessions, but his favourite way to spend his time is napping in his cat tree or watching the world outside from the comfort of his new indoor life.

Zebra’s ideal home would include a calm feline companion and possibly older children who understand when to give him space. While he currently lives with young children and dogs and tolerates them well, he would thrive in a quieter environment where he can enjoy his golden years in peace.
