ABOUT ARTHUR ANIMAL RESCUE

Arthur Animal Rescue became a registered charity, non-profit rescue group in 2023. It has been run entirely by volunteers since 2015, focused on saving cats and kittens across Wellington County and surrounding areas. AAR is still 100% volunteer-based, with no employees, or facility. All of our cats grow up in loving homes.

The team is dedicated to the welfare of our local cats, providing safe and loving foster homes, any necessary medical care needed, including spaying/neutering, age appropriate vaccines, and worm/flea treatment before adoption or placement in a safe, new environment.
Our trap-neuter-return/relocate (TNR) program aims to offer a humane and compassionate solution to the problem of stray cats and cat colonies. These cats would not adapt well to indoor life, so this program enables them to live a life better suited to their needs, while putting an end to the reproductive cycle and spread of disease.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats, and to advocate for their well-being. We believe that every cat deserves a loving home, and we work tirelessly to make that a reality. Join us in our mission to make a difference in the lives of these incredible creatures.

It takes a village to save a cat!
