The Adoption Process

---
See an available cat you are interested in?

Fill out an application online by clicking the button underneath the profile photo of the cat or kitten you want to adopt!

If your application is chosen as a possible good fit, we will contact you by email to schedule a virtual meeting to learn more about you and your environment as well as why you are looking to adopt.

We will then connect you with the foster to learn more about the cat or kitten and schedule an in-person or video meeting to see if you and the cat or kitten will be a good match for each other.

If both parties are happy to go forward with the adoption, we will send you the Adoption Agreement to sign electronically and ask that you pay the adoption fee via e-transfer, cash or cheque.

Once the agreement is signed and the adoption fee is paid, we will confirm with you and the foster so that you can arrange a pickup time with the foster to bring your new family member home!

Please note that not all applicants will be contacted, and we reserve the right to deny an application at any point throughout the adoption process. Furthermore, per our policy, we are not required to provide the reasoning behind a denied application.

You will need to bring a cat carrier to ensure safe travel home.

Cost & What is Covered

Our adoption fees cover the medical expenses for all the cats that come into our care.
All adoptable cats have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, have their age appropriate vaccines (including rabies), and have been treated against fleas and worms.

Our Adoption Fee is;

- $350 for Kittens

- $300 for Young Adult Cats (1-4yrs)

- $250 for Adult Cats (5yrs+)

- Senior Adult Cats (12yrs+) can be adopted (upon approval) with a donation.

We can also provide FIV/FeLeuk testing at an additional fee.

The go home date for the cat or kitten is dependent on when we determine the animal is healthy and ready, and this is non-negotiable.

In the event that multiple applications are received for a cat or kitten in our rescue, we will review each one and make the best decision based on fit for both the cat or kitten, and their forever family.
