Summer is a beautiful, calm gentle soul who is found trying to rough the winter outdoors. This summer she was brought into a foster home with her young family and has been a doting mother.

Summer seems happy to be indoors but after her ordeal it has been a slow process feeling safe. She is beginning to trust her people but is still shy. She enjoys pets and head scratches but does not yet feel safe being picked up or handled. She is still thinking about exploring the rest of her foster home.

Summer readily made friends with her young foster brother so is likely to do well with other cats. She spends most of her time cuddling with her kids Nikki, Albert and Biscuit, and sometimes will join in their play. She’d be thrilled if she happened to get the chance to join one of them in adoption. Treats are definitely the way to her heart and she likes tuna based food as well as kibble.

Summer is a fan of being up high and window watching.

Fear made seeing the vet a particularly difficult experience for this poor girl. That being said she is healthy. Summer has a bony deformity around her ribs that can be felt but not seen. The vet said it does not bother her and no treatment is

needed. 

Summer is looking for a quiet patient home who will understand it is going to take her time to feel confident in her new environment. She is hoping her special someone will be loyal, consider her needs and pamper her like she deserves for the rest of her long life.
