Meet Rocky! 

Rocky is about as laid-back as they come. He'll happily remind you when it's mealtime and loves being petted while he enjoys his food. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he settles in, his sweet personality shines through.

One of Rocky's favorite things to do is make biscuits while relaxing with his people. He adores being brushed and getting chin scratches—especially on those big, handsome cheeks! His preferred cuddle style is lying half on you and half beside you while soaking up all the attention.

Rocky enjoys playing with toys, especially soft ones filled with catnip. He's not a fan of quick "walk-by" pets, though. He's an all-or-nothing kind of guy who likes calm, intentional affection and will let you know if he's not interested.

While he tolerates being held, he'd much rather keep all four paws on the ground. He also strongly dislikes being in a crate.

Rocky could do well with people of any age, though a quieter home with older children or adults may suit him best. He absolutely needs a home without dogs, as they make him uncomfortable. He prefers to keep his distance, but if a dog doesn't respect his space, Rocky won't hesitate to stand his ground.

Rocky is also FIV+, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit. Cats with FIV can live long, healthy, and joyful lives—especially in caring indoor homes—and Rocky fully plans to live his life to the absolute fullest.
