Meet Poe!

Poe is a handsome boy with a gentle soul who is looking for someone willing to let him blossom at his own pace. He is naturally shy and takes time to trust, but patience is the key to winning his heart. Once he feels safe, he'll happily flop onto his side and lean into gentle pets.

Poe is starting to come out of his shell and it's wonderful to see! He loves hanging out between your feet in the kitchen, doing figure eights around your legs and rubbing against you as you move around. He's also beginning to join his people on the couch all by himself, choosing to be close and part of the family.

While being held isn't his favorite thing, playtime definitely is! Poe loves wand toys, but his favorites are soft, fuzzy balls. You may even spot him proudly carrying a jingle ball around the house.

Poe would do best in a quiet home with adults or older, respectful children. He does well with dogs but prefers to keep his distance. A confident, friendly cat companion who enjoys snuggling would be a wonderful match to help him continue building confidence.

Poe may not be your best friend on day one, but if you give him the time he needs, you'll be rewarded with a sweet, playful, and loving companion. His trust is something truly special, and watching him grow is a gift.
