Chouquette came in with her siblings Clafoutis and Dacquoise after being trapped in a barn. Chouquette is the most reserved of the 3 and likes to observe the situation before deciding whether or not to participate. 

She is fine to be picked up and cuddled and will often fall asleep on your lap. Chouquette is the best sister...when they arrived they were all extremely fearful. Chouquette always made sure to put herself between her foster mom and her sisters, and hissing (in the most adorable way). She was protecting them and I think that says a lot about her.

Chouquette has the most beautiful and soft black coat with a tiny little patch of white hair under her chin that is the perfect spot for kisses. She is a very quiet cat and not particularly adventurous. She is happy to play with her siblings, nap, and watch the birds. Chouquette was just given free run of the house and so far has not ventured down to the main floor. She has only met the dogs briefly and I think in time, given her age and laid back temperament, she will be fine with respectful pooches. 

Chouquette is a reserved girl but that is not surprising given her start to life. She has all the makings of a wonderful companion and with time and patience should blossom into the sweetest most loving companion you will ever have. It is also worth noting that Chouquette is very well behaved in the home – she always uses her litter box and has never damaged anything.
