Meet Pepper! 

Pepper is a petite girl with a big heart and so much love to give. Her journey hasn't been easy - she was rescued from a barn that was being demolished, where she had been living in a large group of other cats. When she arrived, Pepper was severely emaciated, weighing just 3.5 pounds. Because of her tiny size, we initially thought she was a kitten, but her first vet visit revealed she's actually over a year old.

Since then, Pepper has made incredible progress. She is now 6 pounds of pure love. Though she may never grow much larger, she makes up for it with her sweet personality. She has a small scar on her side - a lasting reminder of her rough past - where she will likely never grow fur, but it doesn’t slow her down or take away from her charm.

Pepper enjoys batting around soft kicker toys and lounging on the cat tree. She's a gentle, loving girl who adores being near her people and, with time, will likely become a full-fledged lap cat. She’s just so happy to be safe and loved indoors.
