Meet Oscar!

Oscar was found surviving outdoors through the winter on his own — likely not for the first time. He was already missing the tip of one ear, most likely from frostbite, but despite everything he’s been through, Oscar has adapted beautifully to indoor life.

Oscar is FIV+, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit. Cats with FIV can live long, healthy, happy lives, especially in loving indoor homes — and Oscar plans to enjoy life to the fullest.

This handsome boy is affectionate, playful, and incredibly social with both people and other animals. He loves kids, greets visitors happily, and has learned that pets and affection are safe — and pretty wonderful. Oscar has also bonded closely with the other cats in his foster home, grooming them, giving head bumps, and enjoying their companionship.

One of the sweetest milestones has been watching Oscar finally discover the joy of cat toys.

While he enjoys affection, Oscar still appreciates having his boundaries respected and prefers interaction on his own terms.

Oscar is a sweet survivor ready for a loving forever home where he can continue to feel safe, happy, and adored.
