Monty came to us as a transfer from Hamilton Animal Services. Unfortunately they don’t have the resources or space to house injured cats so we took him on to ensure he healed properly and found the perfect forever home. 

Monty initially came in with an injured front leg, possibly a puncture or a gash wound, though we are unsure how he sustained the injury. He has since healed incredibly well and will have no lasting effects from the injury. 

Monty may look a bit gruff, with his grumpy face and huge panther body, but don’t be fooled; he’s very affectionate and loves to be brushed and cuddled. Monty currently lives with other foster cats and does very well with them. He also lives with a large dog that he keeps his space from. With proper introductions we believe Monty would do well in most types of homes. 

Monty is a simple man, who doesn’t ask for much. His perfect home would be filled with love, cat beds, treats, and a nice window to look out.
